Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky
Well, this week's results are a bit perplexing to me.
I weighed in at 189.5 that's 1.5 pounds up from last week.
BF % 34.9 that's .2 down from two weeks ago.
Not going to over-analyze. I kept my calories between 1600-1800. My workouts were The Firm Express schedule, plus I added a 20 minute Insanity workout and a 3 mile run for the week.
This week I am going to shoot for keeping my calories 1500-1600 and I will be upping my exercise. Still keeping with The Firm Express program, but adding in much more cardio. I think it's important to know my own body and know what it needs to get results.

Sometimes when I'm perfectly on plan, I gain on weigh-in day just because it's close to time of the month. It sounds like you are on plan and you know what's right for you!! Everyone's journey is so personal and different.
ReplyDeleteI know my weight can fluctuate like that too, which can be so frustrating when there is no apparent reason. You seem to be taking it all in stride & keeping on track, so great job!
