Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. I've seen OOTD on You Tube and usually it means outfit of the day. Well, you're not getting that here. Cropped sweats and a t-shirt? Ooo la la. Ha ha ha.

This week I'll be gearing up for the Twitter chat on Fueling Your Day, so I thought I'd share how I fuel my day.
Most days, I start out with my basic bowl:
1/4 cups Coach's Oats cooked with 3/4 cup water. I Microwave them for 2 minutes (watching because these puppies expand and can boil over. If they start to boil up in the bowl I just open the microwave for a couple seconds). Then 1 scoop vanilla protein powder stirred in (today I used BSN's Lean Dessert Protein). That's my basic bowl. To add variety I add blueberries, strawberries, bananas, cinnamon, nuts...you get the idea. Whatever I have on hand. Today it was:
My basic bowl with 1/2 cup sliced strawberries. Yum squared.
Today's OOTD stats were:

4 grams fat
26 grams protein
