My OOTD stands for what else, but...oatmeal of the day!
This week I'll be gearing up for the Twitter chat on Fueling Your Day, so I thought I'd share how I fuel my day.
Most days, I start out with my basic bowl:
1/4 cups Coach's Oats cooked with 3/4 cup water. I Microwave them for 2 minutes (watching because these puppies expand and can boil over. If they start to boil up in the bowl I just open the microwave for a couple seconds). Then 1 scoop vanilla protein powder stirred in (today I used BSN's Lean Dessert Protein). That's my basic bowl. To add variety I add blueberries, strawberries, bananas, cinnamon, nuts...you get the idea. Whatever I have on hand. Today it was:
My basic bowl with 1/2 cup sliced strawberries. Yum squared.
Today's OOTD stats were:
34 grams carbs
4 grams fat
26 grams protein
