Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky
Wow, it's Tuesday...how did that happen?
I am so immersed in reaching my end of the year goals that days are flying by me. I am super-uber-focused woman. Hmmm, what would that superhero costume look like?
Not only do I have huge weight loss and fitness goals set for the end of 2010, but I am also working on finishing and self-publishing my book by the end of 2010.
I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will reach all of my goals. That's not a statement the 'old' me would have ever said. But I believe it deep down to my toes.
I'm working hard at owning these goals of mine. I've written my goals, I've made my plans, and I am determined...I can see them, I can taste them...oh ya, determined isn't even the word. It's not quite intense enough. I. Will. Do it.
How about you? What goals will you be attacking these last bits of 2010?
