Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. I have two words for Week 11 of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution: Say. What?
Just to give you an idea, some of the moves in Workouts 11 and 12:
Weighted burpees
Single-leg weighted jump squats
Wheel push ups (back bend push ups)
Crazy, right? Funny thing though, I can do them all. Who knew? To be fair, I was in pretty good shape when I started this program, but I'm still impressed with myself! I feel strong.
Then of course there's Cardio 3. This was my third week of it and I still had to take short breathers throughout. Jillian's pretty fond of the plyo for this one. It rolls right through jump squats, rock star jumps, jumping lunges, canon ball jumps...you get the idea. It's a calorie burner!

My body seems to be fighting me a little this last stretch of Body Revolution. After month 1, I was sort of hoping for an even 20 pounds lost. But wherever I wind up is awesome. My results have already exceeded my expectations. I just broke into the 150's! Whoa.
