Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky
It's that time of year again! I just love the holidays. The music, the decorations, the extra time spent with family and friends...
What I don't love about the holidays is trying to figure out what to get people! Some people are easy, but for those on my list that are tough to buy for I love gift guides. I've found the best presents on gift guides.
I thought this year I'd expand my best of fitness gift guide to include everyone, not just runners and fitness fanatics. Because really, we want everyone in our lives to have a healthy and happy 2015, right??

For the At-Home Workout-er
One of my favorite trainers, Chalene Johnson's latest program.
"Who says you have to jump, grunt, strain, and punish your body to get amazing results from your workout? Not with PiYo…PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined."
