Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky

Hola, Kat! Hi, everyone! *waves*
ReplyDeleteMy blog is "See Glam Diet" where I ramble about my weight loss shenanigans. My blog is just like me: a hodgepodge of fashion, weight loss and humor~ I'm not always successful at losing weight, but I never stop trying!
I'm Helen and I have two blogs. One personal one and one for slimming related things. I'm trying to lose 87 pounds (am at 22.5 lost so far).

Hi Kat! You know me! :)
ReplyDeleteBut everyone else...My name is Chelsea and I have a blog (www.wants2bfit.wordpress.com) it is a daily (or at least whenever i can!) food journal and weight loss blog. I also do product reviews! :) I'd love to meet more blog friends!! :)
Hi! My name's Em (or Emily, I answer to either one.) and my blog is about the craziness that is my life. Mainly the craziness in trying to lose the excess weight and get in shape as well as decluttering my house (not that I've done a lot of talking about that recently). My blog is:
ReplyDeleteunearthingem.blogspot.com
*grin*
Hello ... My name is Sean and my blog is learnfitness.com ... I started at 450 pounds and am approaching a milestone of 300 with a goal of around 250 (I think not sure yet). Anyhow, I blog about the things that have worked for me, pressures in life, balancing fitness etc. It's pretty much a brain dump of information, emotions, and ideas. Come on over and check it out :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm Nicole and my blog is nicoleelkington.blogspot.com (Laugh Outloud), I'm also on twitter: twitter.com/nicoleelkington.
ReplyDeleteA little about me.. I am going to school to be a social worker, I attempt to speak french, as that's my minor; and I'm obsessed with politics. About a year ago, because of my 11 year old brother, I got into Wii Fit, and then Wii Active.. and that morphed into Yoga and other things. I now love working out (even if I am in a little rut), and have lost about 40 pounds since last April. So.. I'm just trying to get more motivation and ideas, because I'm kind of in a rut! So check my blog out :)
I really love this idea of an open mic post. When I was struggling to find support I would posted my story on fellow weight loss bloggers comment section in hopes that someone, anyone would say HI. :) I might need to do something similar, if you don't mind!!?? I've noticed so many new bloggers out there recently- this would help them! :)
ReplyDeleteOh and I everyone...I'm tj over at tjstestkitchen.blogspot.com :) Stop by to see what I've been cooking up as I lose weight. :)
guess I need to check out my typos before I hit enter- that or wait till my 1st cup of coffee is finished. lol
ReplyDeleteHello everyone:)
ReplyDeleteMy name is Karen and I am a reforming yo-yo dieter who blogs about that journey at www.waistingtimeblog.com.
Hi everyone! Glad you stopped by. TJ, LOL, typos schmypos...and I absolutely wouldn't mind you doing something like this, after all I stole your scale letter writing idea ;)
ReplyDeleteHi...I'm Tori of "A Journey to a New Me"...the link is at the top of Kats page. My blog isn't much but I'm getting there. I started my blog as a journal; not just about weight loss but about taking me back and being ok with having me back. It probably doesn't make much sense but in laymen's terms: for the last 35 years I've put everyone else's needs/desires/choices before my own. I've let this shape many of the things I do (or don't do) in my life. And I just can't do it any more. I shouldn't have to. I remember I time when I was fearless, threw abandonment to the wind, and laughed/smiled/cheered while doing so. was that so wrong? I want that back but don't know how. Yet. I'm not a very outwardly social person these days and I needed a way to communicate what's going on in my brain without feeling like I was burdening someone else.
ReplyDeleteTori, it makes total sense, and I think a lot of us have felt that way.
ReplyDeleteYay for new bloggie friends! Loving all the link love. Can't wait to visit everyone's blog tonight after work -- talk to you all then!
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone! Me & Kat, we're regular bloggy & Twitter buddies...but I see a lot of new names 'shoutin out' here so I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you!
ReplyDeleteI am Holly at Making Over Me (http://makingoverme.blogspot.com...also @bloggymama on Twitter) and I started my weight loss journey in January. Striving to lose 100 pounds in 2010...so far down 23! Training to run a 5K, and loving the support and inspiration from other online friends! Come check out Making Over Me...and I'm coming to check you out too! :)
What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Amy, and I have my blog over at www.amysquesttoskinny.com
I've lost (give or take) 100lbs and I'm an avid runner. Stop by for a visit! :)
Oh my god, SQUIRRELS WITH LIGHTSABERS! That's the new awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm Jess from http://www.halfofjess.com and I'm trying to lose weight (for the nth time) while developing my love of running and cooking and everything else in between (food photography!)
I love the support other bloggers have given me and I hope to inspire somebody out there as well!
Now, may the force be with you.
Another Karen here! I've dwindled myself down to just two blogs ... one that is primarily pics of my kid for those few family members who have yet to fall prey to Facebook, and my "main" blog which is muffinfixation.blogspot.com that is a merged blog of my recipe blog and my weight blog (I won't call it a weight LOSS blog right now because I haven't been doing too well with the losing part lately! LOL!). I also have a facebook badge on muffinfixation and LOVE to have my bloggy friends as fb friends ;)
ReplyDelete((waves!))
ReplyDeleteHi, Kate here from Fabulous after 50:
http://fab50.blogspot.com
Looks like I'm just about to enter Onederland after being up around 400 lbs. It's been a long road, and I've still got some pounds to go!
Hi! I'm JourneyBeyondSurvival
ReplyDeleteI'm wacky, whiny and a whirlwind. Other times I need to be poked with a stick to make sure I'm either done or alive. Come poke. I like to talk like a nursing home. Plus, I don't bite even though I still have my teeth.
Hi Kat,
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! When those squirrels are packing lasers that melt fat, I'm in.
OK, I'm Genie over at Diet of 51. I spend more time reading/admiring other people's stuff than writing/decorating my own. That's my excuse for having a somewhat Plain Jane blog, no offense to Jane.
Although a rookie in the W/L blogosphere, I've been at this weight loss game for a long time. It really helps to have inspirational and understanding teammates. So, let's go! Let's play to win!
Thanks, Kat. You're an excellent teammate!
I just found you via Twitter and MizFit! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI have two blogs:
Why Weight: A Real Life "Before" & "After" Story (at http://www.kclanderson.com) which is about a year old
and
(Real) Food Rules! (at http://www.kclanderson.com/foodrules) which is a day old!
They relate but are very different.
What a great idea, Kat! I love that picture, too - made me chuckle!
ReplyDeleteI'm Jenn, and I'm a blogaholic.
I blog at http://www.watchmybuttshrinking.com . My blog is usually called Watch My Butt Shrink! A Weight Loss Blog, but I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago, so for now it's called Watch My Bump Grow!
I post everything - food and product reviews, my own trials and tribulations, rants about stupid things, and my attempts at healthy recipes.
Stop by and say hello!
my blog is about my adventures in exercise (currently C25k - previously 30 day shred) and trying new veggies and other random stuff. :)
ReplyDeleteessentiallyenriched.blogspot.com
This is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm Amber. I am a 31 year old student and customer service rep living in Southern California. My goal is to lose 100 lbs within the next year and a half. I was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and I am already legally blind (not because of the diabetes I've been so since birth) and I want to make sure I save what eye sight I do have. I am planning to blog through my journey. You can check out my blog at
www.shrinkingamber.com
I've just restarted the blog so you'll see some way older posts then the ones from this past week when I've started.
hey everyone!

I am a 24 (almost 25) year old who just moved to a new city and do not know many people therefore love the blogging world as it is so lovely to get comments and support from people all over who are going through the same issues!
