Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky...
If you're choosing to eat paleo I think that a few good cookbooks are a must to spur your imagination and to avoid boredom. Lucky for us a surge of good paleo cookbooks have come out recently.
My favorites:
1. Everyday Paleo by Sarah Fragoso. This is my top pick. It has less recipes than the others, but I really use a lot of recipes from this book. Several of the dinners have become my go-to dinners. I find myself going back to this cookbook again and again. Love this book and highly recommend it.

2. Make it Paleo by Bill Staley and Hayley Mason. This one is new to me. As I already own the others on this list, I just borrowed it from the library to see if I want to order it. Yep, I'll be ordering it. LOVE the recipes in this book; lots of recipes and lots of variety. There's a coconut cake recipe that I can't wait to try for the next birthday we have.
3. Paleo Comfort Foods by Julie & Charles Mayfield. Another great cookbook with tons of recipes and lots of variety. I've tried many recipes from this book and have loved them all. Pretty much anything you could think of wanting a paleo option for is in here. Tortillas, biscuits, bread... Definitely recommend this one!
4. The Primal Blueprint Cookbook by Mark Sisson with Jennifer Meier. I find myself going back to this cookbook again and again for some favorites. The walnut meal brownies are a favorite treat for us. Really love this book.
I really enjoy all of these cookbooks and recommend them to anyone looking for some great paleo recipes. How about you? Any favorite paleo cookbooks I missed?
