Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky
I was all ready to review one of my favorite strength training workouts: Jillian Michaels for Beginners...when I found out you can't really get it anywhere. No Amazon! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? This is by far one of the best beginner strength workouts I've ever seen. If you CAN find it somewhere I highly recommend it.
Jillian Michaels for Beginners is a 2 DVD set with a Frontside DVD and a Backside DVD; one to work the front of your body muscles, and one for the back of your body muscles. It's a mixture of strength training and cardio moves in circuits. Very mellow for Jillian, but GREAT for beginners. Although I still enjoy it by upping my weights and giving the cardio portions gusto and get an awesome workout as a non-beginner. I give it five stars as one of my all time favorites. Jillian gives great basic instruction on strength moves, giving you a very thorough complete body workout. Wonderful for someone wanting to get into strength training. You could even skip the cardio portions and just do the strength moves. Even those that don't like Jillian will like her here. I won't get too into it, since it seems it'll be hard to find :(
SO, I went ahead and gave my opinion anyway. I'll add the Amazon link, but it's not straight from Amazon, and I don't usually buy things that way. It will at least show you what the DVD looks like, if you find it somewhere else let me know!
I am just a blogger, not a doctor or any sort of professional. What you read here are my personal experiences and opinions. Of course, always consult your doctor before trying a diet, diet pill, or new workout programs.
