Supreme 90 Day Final Results and Review

I've completed 30 days on the Supreme 90 Day System. Last Thursday was when I took my results, but I'm just getting to posting my review today...So, do I think this system is hype or help? First, the numbers.

My Starting Stats: Weight: 184
BF%: 34.1%
Waist: 35.5
Right thigh: 22
Right calf: 15
Hips: 43.5
Right arm: 12

My 30 Day Stats:
Weight: 176
BF%: 31.5%
Waist: 34
Right thigh: 21.5
Right calf: 14.75
Hips: 42.5
Right arm: 12

Quick Notes

I did tweak this plan a little. For this workout you will need hand weights and a stability ball.
Best Workout Value
I won't beat around the bush. I love this set of workouts. They are the best workout value I have seen in a while! $19.99?! Wow. I give Supreme 90 Day 4.5 stars and absolutely think it is help, no hype here. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the packaging is a little cheap and the trainer mis-calls moves some. Nothing that should keep anyone from buying them though, they rock. Seriously.

I highly recommend this system for intermedi…

Fitbloggin Humor Session Full Video!

This was totally worth holding my arm in the air for the whole session!! (don't worry, the feeling has now returned). I am so happy to share with all of you this awesome session from fitbloggin featuring Sue, Jack, and Charlie

A little shaky at some points, shifting positions when my arm got tired, etc and hopefully minimal crunching from my popchips snacking during the session. But well worth the watch. Good. Stuff.

My camera randomly went off, so there's about 5 minutes in the 2nd video. I missed a couple seconds where Charlie basically said that it has taken her long enough to accept herself for who she is and she is not going to compromise that for a brand.

Trying to grow my you tube channel, I would love it if you guys could 'like' this on you tube, comment on you tube, etc. THANK YOU!

Fitfluential Ambassador Appication

If you haven't heard of Fitfluential, you should definitely check it out.

For my application I would like to talk a little about my passion for fitness. In particular my passion for running.

I was never a runner. Never. Running the mile for the fitness test in high school was pure torture to me.

I didn't start running until I was 30. It began as a simple mathematical equation: me+running=burning the most calories in the shortest amount of time. It was all about the weight loss.

Then I decided to try a 5k. That changed everything. And when I say everything, I mean my entire life.

My only goal for the 5k was to run the entire thing. Which I did. I didn't know if I could, I didn't believe in myself at all at that point in my life. Then, I crossed the finish line. I'd done it! I'd set a goal, I'd trained, I'd accomplished it. Somehow I changed that day. It seems impossible to even explain everything that was set in motion at that finish line. I began to believ…

Adventures in Fitbloggin Day 1

What. A. Day. Seriously.
I really thought I was going to miss my flight this morning.
I got up at 2:30 am, but still left in just enough time to make it. Mistake number one!
We went a few miles down the road and there was fog so thick you could barely see to drive. Then, I almost hit a deer. I’m sorry little deer, but the middle of the road, in the dark, in the fog, is just not the place for you.
To top that, hubby tells me (as I'm trying to figure out why I can't see) the car has a headlight out. So brights were too bright to see in the fog, but dims were so dim I could barely see at all. I drove the whole way paranoid I was going to get pulled over for the headlight and definitely miss my flight.
Nuts.
I drove much too fast for such conditions, but still way too slow to get to the airport an hour and a half early as planned. Generally I shoot for 2 hours early, but the website said otherwise. Hindsight.
Next, we have to stop for gas! Can we say bad planning? Yes. There wasn’t en…

Come With Me To Fitbloggin

No, I'm not giving away a ticket to fitbloggin, dang, I know. But I want to take those of you that are unable to go!

I vividly remember being one of the ones that didn't get to go last year. Finances wouldn't permit it and my blog was just a baby blog (you know, way back then, a year ago) so sponsorship wasn't really an option. So, at home I sat.

I hung on every tweet, every post, every video from attendees. It was like I could still experience a little piece of it.

This year I plan to do that for all of you that may be sitting home wanting to experience a little of fitbloggin. I'm taking my flip and I'm sure people will be tired of it by the end of the conference (that's my goal anyway). I'm taking my laptop and of course my Blackberry. All of this so that, virtually anyway, I can take you!

I'll also have some giveaways for those of you that can't attend and are missing out on the fitbloggin swag.

So, follow me on twitter, subscribe to me on You Tub…

Supreme 90 Day and Body Confidence Hybrid Weeks 2 and 3 Results

Week 2 results didn't get posted last week. Too much going on! I only weighed, but I will post that.

First, to recap, Week 1 Results Were:

Waist: 35.25
Right thigh: 21.5
Right calf: 14.75
Hips: 43

I am very pleased with those results. I am also still really enjoying these workouts.

This week is going to be a little tricky because I have fitbloggin (yay!!!) Thursday through Sunday. I'm going to stick to the Body Confidence eating plan as well as I can, but won't be able to do my Supreme 90 workouts. Although I will have a 5k to run and plenty of other chances to be active during those day.

Also, Instead of doing a week 4 results post, I'm going to wait 2 days and just do the final 30 day results post.

OOTD Good Ole Comfort Oats

Yesterday I had a very hectic day. All good things, just hectic. Lots to do. This morning I woke up to a cold drizzly day and that time of the month...so, some good old comfort oats were in order:
1/4 cup Coach's Oats cooked with 3/4 cups water. Then added 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/4 tsp Saigon Vietnamese Cinnamon (LOVE this cinnamon, I get it from My Spice Sage), 1/2 sliced banana and 1/4 oz chopped walnuts.

Today's OOTD stats:
287 calories
37 grams carbs
7 grams fat
16 grams protein

Bowl lickin' good.

Are you are joining me tomorrow for #oatchat??

OOTD Running Out The Door

Today's oatmeal of the day is blueberry overnight oats: I knew I'd be running out the door this morning to get my hair done (wooo!) so I planned ahead and made some protein packed overnight oats:
1/4 cup Coach's Oats, 1 cup 0% plain greek yogurt, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, 1 packet Truvia. Stir together, cover, and pop it in the refrigerator overnight. Eat cold. So good!
Today's OOTD stats:
278 calories
37 grams carbs
0 grams fat (oops, probably will add some almonds or walnuts next time)
25 grams protein

I'm off! How did you fuel your day?

OOTD and an OW

I've seen OOTD on You Tube and usually it means outfit of the day. Well, you're not getting that here. Cropped sweats and a t-shirt? Ooo la la. Ha ha ha.

My OOTD stands for what else, but...oatmeal of the day!

This week I'll be gearing up for the Twitter chat on Fueling Your Day, so I thought I'd share how I fuel my day.

Most days, I start out with my basic bowl:
1/4 cups Coach's Oats cooked with 3/4 cup water. I Microwave them for 2 minutes (watching because these puppies expand and can boil over. If they start to boil up in the bowl I just open the microwave for a couple seconds). Then 1 scoop vanilla protein powder stirred in (today I used BSN's Lean Dessert Protein). That's my basic bowl. To add variety I add blueberries, strawberries, bananas, cinnamon, nuts...you get the idea. Whatever I have on hand. Today it was:
My basic bowl with 1/2 cup sliced strawberries. Yum squared.
Today's OOTD stats were:
295 calories
34 grams carbs
4 grams fat
26 grams protein

Mother's Day Featuring Bonnie From Coach's Oats

Happy Mother's Day everyone! Today I'd like to feature a fit mom that inspires me.  We all know how hard it can be to balance our busy lives with our health and fitness. I think that Bonnie aka Mrs. Coach's Oats does an amazing job at this.
Bonnie has always made fitness an important part of her life. As a teenager she competed in gymnastics and swimming as well as worked out on a regular basis. In college she competed in swimming and was also in the dance program at University of Illinois. She even ran a marathon less than 6 months after finishing collegiate swimming. Amazing. She then continued this active lifestyle throughout her adult life, even after kids. We all know how tough that can be. Bonnie competed in triathlons until she got pregnant with her oldest son Nolan.  After having her second son Calvin she began teaching pilates and spin classes. The part of her fitness story that amazes me most is that Bonnie began competing in fitness and figure competitions after t…

Paleo Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer Recipe

It's just not the holidays for me without a Starbucks peppermint mocha (or white chocolate peppermint mocha, mmm). I generally splurge once or twice during the holiday season with the real thing. Since going keto paleo, however, I'm not sure if I will. Sometimes the sugar just isn't worth it!

Problem is I like them, miss them, and would really enjoy them all season long!
So..... I decided I wanted to tackle the peppermint mocha and come up with Paleo-friendly version. With this simple recipe, I can have a peppermint mocha anytime.

Not only is this recipe Paleo, but it's also Whole30, gluten-free, vegan, primal, and 100% junk-free. Paleo Peppermint Mocha RecipeIngredients:
1 can Organic Canned Coconut Milk(Regular, NOT light. Seriously, ew.)
1/3 cup Organic Cocoa Powder
2 to 3 Tablespoons Organic Grade B Maple Syrup (Optional, leave out for keto or Whole30.)
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Organic Peppermint Extract(Depending how pepperminty you like it. I do 1/2 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon Organic …

KETO Cocktails: The Lemon Drop

I love a good glass of red wine now and then, I mean it's practically a health food, right? ;) But sometimes I just want a cocktail. I'm all for moderation and having a drink now and then, but I'm just not down with the calorie, carb, and sugar counts of some of my favorites. Seriously, have you ever looked them up? Eek. So, I've set to work at converting my favorite cocktail recipes to be more keto diet friendly!

The first cocktail recipe I'm tackling is the keto lemon drop. I used to love these, but haven't had one in years because of the sugar in them. In my early twenties I had a friend who used to make them for me all the time. We would have a shaker full of these, a good dinner, and a chick flick on a weeknight, it was kind of bliss. Her recipe called for so. much. SUGAR though! Looking back I think she may have used a wee bit more sugar than most, but they were really good.

I think my keto-ized recipe comes pretty dang close to those delicious memories! It…

30 Easy Prep and Pack Whole30 Lunch Recipes

The Whole30Program is amazing. I highly recommend it. Every time I've done a Whole 30 I have felt AMAZING by the end. It's a very empowering experience. It is not however an easy one. Mostly because the food prep can take much more time if you're used to grab and go options. A little planning ahead and you can definitely make it through the 30 days.

When it comes to Whole30 lunches, 3 things worked best for me:

Quick and easy salads.Prepping food on Sunday.Cooking too much at dinner and eating leftovers for lunch the next day.
I thought I'd share 30 of the awesome Whole30 lunch recipes I've found from my favorite bloggers (and a few from me!). I've included all three options I listed above. Some quick and easy salads, some to prep an entire recipe on the weekend and then portion them for lunches that week, and some to be cooked for dinner and the leftovers packed for lunch the next day. Play around and see what works best for you.

Keto Paleo Friendly Coffee Creamer Recipe

Going keto paleo has me missing one thing: the organic grass-fed half-and-half I'd been having in my coffee. Since going paleo over a year ago I've searched and searched and just never found anything else I love in my coffee. I'd just about given up on a keto paleo-friendly coffee creamer!

I was almost to resign myself to black coffee forever, but then I decided to resort again to trying to make my own. This version is simple and quite delicious. Not only is it keto paleo, but Whole30 and 21 Day Sugar Detox friendly as well.

Keto Paleo Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee Creamer
Ingredients
1 can Organic Canned Coconut Milk(the kind in the carton just won't do it)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Vietnamese Organic
1 teaspoon Organic Pure Vanilla for 100% Whole30 compliant swap for vanilla powder
2 teaspoons raw local honey or Organic Maple Syrup (optional, leave out for KETO, Whole30, or 21DSD)

Paleo Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burgers

Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments.

In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant.

Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though.

This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun!

Easy Paleo Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Growing up the only encounter I had with sweet potatoes was at Thanksgiving dinner. I hesitate to even call them sweet potatoes though. They were more like sugar coated sugar, with a side of sugar. Seriously!
The recipe was to coat a baking dish in margarine, add diced sweet potatoes, top with more margarine and a healthy heaping of brown sugar. Bake. And then? At the end you top the whole thing with a bag of marshmallows and bake again.
Blech! Needless to say I was never fond of sweet potatoes.
When I first went paleo I decided to reacquaint myself with sweet potatoes. They’re a great paleo-friendly carb source. I must confess the thought made me shudder, but I persevered. I tried them simple. Baked. I was so shocked. They're so good!
Now, I love sweet potatoes. They’re a go-to side dish for family dinners. Not only are they delicious, but they’re good for us and easy to make. The funny thing about sweet potatoes is they taste amazing all on their own. When it comes to sweet potato r…

KETO Paleo Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer Recipe

It's that time of year again. Pumpkin-time that is! Yes, yes, I want all. Things. Pumpkin. Right now. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spiced everyyyyythingggg.

Sorry, not sorry.

However, I'm currently doing pretty strict Keto Paleo (more on that in another post). So no PSL's for me. Dangit.

1/4 teaspoon Organic Cloves
1/8 teaspoon Organic Ginger

KETO Hot Cocoa Pancakes

OK, I know I've been on quite the low carb pancake tangent lately, but THESE! Seriously, these are yummtastic. Yummazing? Ya, they're really good. They just might be my favorite recipe I've ever done. Ever. OK, that might be my paleo apple crisp recipe, but that's not low carb...ooo, I wonder if I could tweak that low carb...

That would be brilliant!

You know, bloggers area always talking seo this and seo that (seo stands for search engine optimization if you're not a blogger) and I'm just over here yammering. I'm pretty sure when google's spider crawlers (anyone shiver at that word picture? eesh) get to FitViews they just think, "Yeesh, move along. Nothing to see here." Ha ha ha!

Anyway, pancakes. KETO Hot Cocoa Low Carb Pancakes no less. So good.

As I've mentioned before I'm back to low carb (keto actually) and developing new recipes to make it easier to stick with. I find I just plain feel great when I eat ketogenic, and I definitely h…
