Since going Paleo my family has fallen even more in love with our grill. Paleo and grilling just work well together. The past couple of years I've even been stepping outside my grilling comfort zone more and more. Grilling things I'd never thought to have grilled before and trying new flavor combinations. I have to say I'm pretty thrilled with the results of most of my flavor experiments. In the past I'd never have thought to grill fruit, but it's amazing. Grilling fruit and adding it to traditionally savory dishes? Brilliant. Oh yes, and? New rule: every burger recipe for the rest of forever must contain grilled pineapple. OK, maybe more of a guideline. It's a seriously delicious combination though. This Smoky Grilled Pineapple Burger is always a crowd-pleaser at my house. It's not only Paleo, but Whole30, glutenfree, lower carb, and clean eating friendly. I promise you won't miss the bun! paleo, grilled pineapple burger, smoky
Most of this week's meals come from this cookbook. |
I generally just plan dinners M-F in my meal planning. Weekends are usually leftovers or something on the grill. Breakfast and lunches the kids and I just wing it. I am trying to be more creative with those meals too. I think that's the main reason I'm so excited for this. Getting creative with our meals again. We've definitely been in a big rut this summer.

I find things go so much more smoothly when I meal plan. Do you meal plan?
Can't wait to follow this!
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to seeing how you do this experiment. I've been wondering about Paleo myself, but get bored very easily, maybe you can show me a way to do it that will work for me too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Paleo month. Your first week's menu plan definitely looks doable.
ReplyDeleteMeal planning, shopping, prepping and cooking are my biggest struggle. Starting this week, I am eliminating that struggle for awhile and having my meals delivered fresh daily. This will help me focus on other areas without hanging up on the food. Then one day, I will need to learn to fend for myself with healthy foods.
I look forward to following your experiment.
ive heard great things about that book..think ill check it out, thanks!
